Two night minimum stay requirement applies to all Friday and Saturday nights. Longer minimum stays may be required for holidays & Special Events, these requirements will be outlined on our Availability Calendar. |

Theme Weekends: Prior to making
your online reservation, please check the Specials
page of our website. For dates on which special Theme
Weekends occur, you may not book a room unless you will
also be participating in the special package. Guests making
an online reservation for these dates will automatically
be signed up for the Theme Weekend package and charged accordingly. |

Our Inn is
appropriate for children ages 13 and older only. Children
may not be left unaccompanied at the Inn for any amount
of time. |

Our Inn
purposely has no televisions so that all guests may enjoy
a quiet & relaxing environment. Guests are welcome
to bring DVD players/laptop computers for their personal
use and we ask that you please use headphones with these
devices so that other guests are not disturbed. |

Copies of the CD Auto Tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield are available for loan during your stay. Auto Tour is loaned at the time you check-in and must be returned by 10AM on your day of check out; no early or late loans of this program are possible. Individual copies are available for purchase at the National Park Visitor's Center. |

For your Information
Please carefully read all policies before making your reservation. As with most bed and breakfasts, when you stay at the Doubleday Inn you are staying at our home. We have developed these policies for the maximum enjoyment of all guests and for the smooth day to day operation of the Inn.
No exceptions to these policies are possible.
View Booking Policies
Check-In Time: We are a private home, and do not maintain a 24 hour check-in desk. Rooms are guaranteed ready by 3 pm, and check-in is by 5 pm. Prior arrangements must be made for later arrivals.
Check-Out Time: 10AM. Late check-out is subject to a $25 fee. Rooms not vacated by 11AM will incur an extra night's charge.
Breakfast: Served continuously from 8:30-9:15AM daily. We serve a fully plated, hot breakfast each day with main entrees alternating between an egg dish, French toast or waffel dish with bacon or sausage and fresh fruit. We are happy to provide for any special dietary needs provided you extend us the courtesy of giving us notice AT THE TIME YOU MAKE YOUR RESERVATION. As our menus are planned several days in advance we are unable to accommodate last-minute requests.
Reservation Policy: 50% deposit for entire stay is due at the time you make your
reservation. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover cards.
Remaining balance is due at check-in, when we can also accept
cash or Traveler's checks.
Cancellation Policy: Due to our intimate size and as most of our guests plan their visits with us quite some time in advance, cancellations affect us significantly. Please be certain that your travel plans are firm before booking. To mitigate the effects of unforeseen events, we highly recommend securing Trip Insurance. Details of cancellation policy for individual rooms are as follows:

Deposit will be refunded minus a $25/room processing fee if cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to reservation. |

Cancellations made within 14 days of reservation will result in a forfeit of your deposit. |

Cancellations within 7 days of stay, No-Shows or guests checking out before the last day of their reservation will result in full room charge. |
